Check your Vaccine Status
Those traveling Internationally and within Canada are currently required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Though there are exemptions, it is a safe assumption that your vaccine passport will need to be shown.
Preparing your vaccine passport ahead of time will prevent you further stress on your already hectic traveling day. Your vaccine status can be accessed through the Government of Canada website.
You will need to select your province, and securely log into your provincial health services account in order to access your vaccine passport.
we highly recommend that you PRINT A COPY and TAKE A SCREENSHOT for your travels. Your vaccine passport is accessible online through your phone or tablet, but will not be available when there is no access to Wi-Fi, you are out of cellular range, or if your phone is dies. A physical copy of your vaccine passport will provide you peace of mind in case of unforeseen technical complications.
WHEN RETURNING TO CANADA:
For those returning to Canada, you must use the ArriveCAN mobile app or sign in on a computer to enter your proof of vaccination, quarantine and travel information. You'll need to submit your information within 72 hours before your arrival to Canada.
More information can be found here.
These requirements are subject to change.
